Gale was a funny one
She ate worms
“Gale eats worms” the co-workers would say;
and it was true, she did in fact eat worms
Big fat earthy British worms to be exact
Squirming around at the bottom of her lunch box they were
Turning and twisting like they knew what was coming
She’s got nothing at all in common with the likes of us you see
How comes she get made to be the team mentor when she hardly ever even does any work?
She continually messes up all her cases
and Timmy has been working her almost twice as long
Yet somehow she gets to be the team mentor
AND she eats worms
I wouldn’t have believed it myself
Unless I had seen it with my own two eyes
Sat there like she was
Dirt up her fingernails
Chomping on gooey entrails
In the staff room of all places (where other people need to eat)
and she made no attempts to hide it
As bold as brass
In popped another one
Top and bottom, she slithered up the lot
With no bother at all
“See that!
What did I say?
Gale eats worms!”
They should have made me the team mentor
